Job functions, duties and responsibilities
You shall undertake to perform the duty as per following description.
· Work closely with JP's duty officer / control rooms and to execute & delivery the scope of work of berthing/unberthing/shifting/hauling/swinging of vessels and miscellaneous services.
· Lead a team which comprises of 6 to 8 mooring crew and a driver to carry out the mooring, unmooring of vessels & other tasks in accordance with the wharf plan / ROV during your shift.
· You are reporting to KAH (Key Account Holder) to ensure a safe and efficient operations. Your main tasks include the following and other services required.
· Conduct daily tool box briefing on wharf operations as per ROV / Record of Vessels and safety & PPE requirements prior to despatch his team to particular wharf.
· To liaise with JP's duty officers if encountered with work deviation from the ROV such as position of vessel alongside the wharf, deviation from assigned wharf marks, bollard / wharf obstructions, damage to wharf facilities and etc.
· To liaise with KAH in advance to arrange for back-up support if there is shortfall of crew or need additional crew for vessel's LOA exceeded 200m.
· Responsible for proper documentation, upkeeping of mooring crew office, equipment maintenance, cleanliness & housekeeping and safe operations of vehicle in JP.
· Work closely with KAH / HR on crew welfare such as leave application, medical leave, discipline matters and other admin matters.
· Any ad hoc and other general duties as and when required
