Front Counter Concierge Duties
- Perform reception duties such as handling telephone and walk-in enquiries/requests from students, parents, vendors and other stakeholders, issuing keys and forms (e.g. GIRO, FAS application forms) to students/parents.
- Attend to injured/sick students, provide basic first aid to injured students and compile injuries log. Accompany the injured student in an ambulance to hospital, serve as the main point of contact for the injured and leave the hospital only upon handing over the student to his/her parent/guardian.
- Maintain records/reports for front office enquiries, telephone enquiries and lost-and-found items.
- Support general office administration including sorting/recording incoming mails and staff/student-related items, distributing fliers/other materials to teachers’ letter racks, stamping of results slips, laminating documents (e.g. student/school certificates) and making announcements via PA system (e.g. snack breaks) etc.
- Support document checks for MOE FAS applications.
- Support logistical arrangement for meetings, school events and activities, ordering of refreshments for meetings/school events/activities and pantry management (ordering and distribution of pantry items).
- Liaise with vendor for bus transport/booking arrangements.
- Perform any other duties as and when assigned by school.
Requirements
- Able to read and write English.
- At least 2 years of front counter customer service experience.
- Competent to handle tasks and responsibilities assigned.
- Conversant in English (written and spoken)
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Pleasant personality, positive and cheerful attitude and good communication skills.
- Candidates trained in first aid are preferred.
Working hours
- Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break
- Fridays: 7:00am to 3:30pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
