Responsibilities:
- Perform the duties of WSHO Officer.
- Perform the duties of ECO.
- Perform the duties of SMO, implement and coordinate a system of Safe Management Measures.
- Investigate incidents, analysis of root causes, and recommend corrective measures.
- Organize programmes and promotional activities to enhance HSE awareness.
- Respond to the Project Manager on matters relating to compliance with HSE requirements.
- To provide the monthly report on EHS system operation and performance.
- Ensure the effective implementation of risk assessments, and follow-up actions to maintain high safety standards and compliance with company ISO, OHSAS policies and legal requirements.
- Conduct incident investigations and recommendations on corrective actions to prevent a recurrence.
- Lead the Risk Assessment team members to carry out the risk assessment for all relevant works activities to be carried out on-site and implement permit of work system for hazardous works on site.
- Perform daily site Inspections, safety walkabouts, and toolbox talks.
- Monitor the environment, health, and housekeeping at the site.
Requirements:
- Must be a registered WSHO with the Ministry of Manpower.
- Must be a registered ECO with the National Environment Agency.
- Possess the Earth Control Measure Officer (ECMO) qualification.
- Possess good communication skills both in written and spoken English.
- Ability to handle multiple projects.
- Min 2 years experience in construction or Civil engineering project.
