Key Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years of proven experience in designing, deploying, and implementing core routing/switching and/or data center networks in accordance with industry best practices.
- Experience with implementing Cisco Nexus 9K and Cisco Catalyst 9K switching.
- Proficient in deploying logical design models (L2/L3, VPC, Device Contexts, Datacenter Zones, Spanning Tree, VRF, VTP, VLANs, physical cabling).
- Strong technical knowledge of network and security protocols, including IPSEC VPN, QoS, SGT, SSL VPN, AAA, Dot1x, TrustSec, and NAT.
- In-depth understanding of IP communication and routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), with preferred experience in inter-company routing.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to conduct research into networking issues and products as needed.
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong customer service orientation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- A related degree in computer science or electrical engineering, or equivalent network engineering experience of 7-10 years.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with customer executives, business stakeholders, regulators, and clients on network-related topics and issues.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance risks and business needs.
Technology Proficiency:
- Working and implementation experience or knowledge in the following technologies:Cisco Routing and Switching technology, Enterprise Core technology (LAN/WAN).
Knowledge of firewall technologies such as IPSEC VPN, SSL VPN, IPS/IDS, Cisco ASA, and Firepower.
Good to Have Knowledge:
- Familiarity with Ekahau, Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), and Aruba Wireless technologies.
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security certification.
