Role and responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders (internal and external) to gather and document business requirements.
- Analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Develop user stories, use cases, and functional requirements for development teams.
- Conduct impact assessments and feasibility studies for new initiatives.
- Drive process improvements and contribute to strategic planning.
- Apply Design Thinking principles to solve complex business problems and deliver user-centric solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to uncover user needs and define project scope.
- Lead the ideation, prototyping, and user testing phases to iterate and improve solutions.
- Develop empathy with end-users by conducting user research and gathering feedback through interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure designs meet both business requirements and user expectations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for business requirements, providing clear communication and updates.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring expectations are managed and aligned throughout the project.
- Prioritize competing requirements and help stakeholders make informed decisions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, project managers, and product owners to ensure alignment and smooth project execution.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.
- Proven experience working with Design Thinking methodologies in a business context.
- 2+ years of experience in QA testing, including manual testing, test case creation, and defect management.
- Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
- Knowledge of Design Thinking methodologies and user-centered design principles.
- Ability to gather and analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Proficient in QA testing tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Postman) and techniques (e.g., functional, regression, UAT).
- Experience in writing test cases, creating test plans, and performing end-to-end testing.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with UX/UI design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch) is a bonus.
- Experience in aviation or aeronautics industry is a plus.
