- A Director will be responsible for managing all operations within a country. This involves taking responsibility for profit, revenue, cash, and quality targets.
- Agreeing on annual budgets and producing a detailed annual business operating plan are tasks a director may have to deliver as well as monthly, quarterly, or annual targets for revenue, profits, and cash.
- Spearheaded daily IT Infra and DC operations ensuring system functionality, availability, data security, and compliance with industry standards.
- Create and maintain SOPs and policies to ensure consistent and efficient DC operations. Provide Training to support engineers and vendors.
- Manage Data center projects including DC migration, AD migration, Physical moving, decommissioning of servers, physical to virtual migration, rack optimization, and disposals of servers and equipment based on standard data sanitization practice.
- Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts, and overseeing installations.
- Expected to recruit and manage staff, including performance monitoring, and possibly mentoring and training.
- Must be educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably with some financial qualifications or training – a solid understanding of budgeting and financial planning is essential as this role involves agreeing on annual budgets as well as producing financial reports.
