We are looking for a Trade/Marketing Executive for a Shipowner in Container Shipping. You will play a crucial role in ensuring swift response to pricing requests and supporting the Market Manager in devising effective pricing strategies to meet contribution and market share goals.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Process quotation requests promptly and effectively to align with commercial objectives.
- Assist in setting tariff levels and crafting competitive pricing proposals.
- Aid in understanding market trends, customer dynamics, and competitive landscape.
- Support achieving and maintaining market share targets.
- Contribute to tactical pricing initiatives that respond to market conditions and enhance value.
- Manage non-standard quotation requests as directed.
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks related to market management.
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 3 years of experienced in freight pricing with a Shipowner
- Proficient in Excel for data analysis and Power BI for reporting.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends and competitor strategies.
- Strategic thinker capable of developing pricing tactics for market share goals.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with regional teams.
