- Conduct assessments to identify children’s learning and developmental needs.
- Administer, score, and interpret specialized psychological assessments.
- Develop and implement intervention goals and plans to support children’s learning and development.
- Report assessment findings and intervention outcomes in Individualized Educational Plans (IEP) and End-of-Intervention (EOI) reports.
- Design, implement, and monitor tailored intervention strategies.
- Provide guidance and support to Learning Support Educators (LSEds) and preschool teachers in applying personalized strategies.
- Advise parents/caregivers on how to use individualized strategies to support their child.
- Train or co-train LSEds, preschool teachers, and parents/caregivers in specific behavioral techniques and strategies.
- Identify training and support needs, and lead the development of early intervention resources for preschool teachers and parents/caregivers.
- Track and monitor key clinical performance indicators (e.g., IEP goal achievement, evaluations).
- Conceptualize and participate in research or quality improvement projects.
- Lead or co-lead special projects to enhance the inclusion of children with learning and developmental needs.
- Undertake additional tasks and executive duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Applied Psychology or Educational Psychology.
- Full registration with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS).
- At least 1 year of pediatric experience, ideally with experience working within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Experience in assessment and working with preschool children or children with developmental disabilities (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities) is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
