Job Responsibilities:
- Develop eco-friendly marine solutions aimed at reducing the marine carbon footprint, aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Actively set up a testing laboratory to facilitate the development and testing of solutions.
- Conduct PLC software and algorithm development for electrical propulsion systems.
- Create documentation for software architecture, logic flow, testing procedures, quality control, and any other necessary supporting materials.
- Participate in and support the commissioning of vessels with similar configurations.
- Troubleshoot and address any issues related to delivered solutions that may occur during vessel commissioning.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.·
Job Requirement(s)
- Possess Bachelor in Electronics and Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Strong software development skills, particularly in equipment controls.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Hands-on approach to tasks.
- Strong communication skills, with ease in engaging with external parties.
- Knowledge of power electronics, motor drives, and marine propulsion systems is an advantage.
