About the Role

The Channel Partnership Manager/Director is responsible for developing, managing, and enhancing partnerships between the agency, its clients, channel partners, and other external partners. This role requires a strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to foster long-term relationships that drive business growth and mutual success. The candidate will also oversee the management of channel partnerships to ensure optimal distribution and sales performance.


Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership Development:

  • Identify and establish new partnership opportunities with agency and channel partners.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance existing partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align partnership and channel strategies with overall business goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key partners, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with partners and channel distributors.
  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise in agency and channel relationships.
  • Develop and manage agency and channel partner programs to ensure effective distribution of products and services.
  • Monitor performance, including sales targets and market penetration.
  • Provide training and support to agency and channel partners to maximize their sales potential.
  • Monitor the performance of partnerships and channels, including KPIs and ROI.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on partnership and channel activities and outcomes.
  • Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and growth.

Contract Negotiation and Management:

  • Negotiate partnership and channel agreements, contracts, and terms.
  • Ensure all agreements comply with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Manage contract renewals and amendments.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure agency partnership and channel initiatives are well-coordinated.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to maximize the value of partnerships.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in agency partnership and channel development.
  • Stay informed about industry developments and competitor activities.
  • Use insights from market research to inform strategies.
  • Organize partner and channel-related events, such as workshops and seminars.
  • Agency and Channel Roadshow / Event Planning and Participation

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Number of new agency partnership programs and channel partners established.
  • Growth in revenue from partnerships.
  • Partner and channel satisfaction and retention rates.
  • ROI on partnership and channel initiatives.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in partnership development, business development, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing agency and channel partnerships.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools.
