Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager (Operations)

The Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager (Operations) will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our organization's operations. This position will report directly to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for overseeing various operational aspects, including program logistics, administrative tasks, and temple support.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management:
    • Coordinate and manage programs and events, including designing, venue booking, programme arrangements, and engagement.
    • Oversee the implementation of program activities and ensure adherence to timelines, compliance requirements and budgets.
    • Collaborate with program managers to develop and implement effective program evaluation methods.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Manage administrative tasks such as maintaining records, preparing reports, and handling correspondence.
    • Assist in the preparation and submission of grant proposals and financial reports.
    • Coordinate with external stakeholders, including government agencies, donors, and vendors.
  • Temple Support:
    • Provide operational support to Hindu temples affiliated with our organization.
    • Assist in the coordination of temple events and activities.
    • Ensure compliance with temple regulations and guidelines.
    • Engage and support our highly committed and motivated volunteers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a non-profit organization.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working with diverse communities and cultures.
  • Knowledge of Hindu temple practices and traditions (preferred).
