Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of internal quality control for fresh produce through effective management of quality processes.
- Ensure the Quality Team conducts regular inspections in accordance with approved specifications.
- Ensure inspectors perform their tasks in compliance with ISO/FSSC 22000 standards, as well as HACCP and GMP requirements.
- Report to the Head of Operations on overall production performance, addressing any issues encountered and areas for improvement.
- Conduct training and audits for Quality Assurance programs, covering customer-required quality standards, 5S, GMP, food safety, hygiene, and more.
- Ensure the team promptly reports and submits claims documentation for shipments that fail to meet quality standards.
- Ensure all employees adhere to the company's SOPs and procedures.
- Ensure new employees receive proper training and consistently provide ongoing training for existing employees to enhance job competency.
- Address customer complaints and supplier rejections by conducting investigations and implementing timely corrective actions.
- Liaise with authorities and manage all food safety-related audits.
Job Requirement(s):
- A minimum of a Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- 3-5 years of work experience with a proven track record in team leadership.
- Trained in ISO/FSSC 22000 standards.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
