Responsibilities
- Assess and provide a formal diagnosis of developmental conditions e.g. Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, etc. through a written report
- Conduct IQ and academic tests, and provide reports for enrollment in Special Education Schools
- Assess and intervene for anxiety, mood disorders, anger management, etc.
- Provide psychological assessment for exemption of second language or accommodation for children with learning challenges
- Recommend parents on the educational path of a child with neurodiverse needs
- Hold intervention on topics such as turn-taking, anger management, etc.
- Provide parent training to parents of children with developmental needs on topics such as emotional regulation, behavioural management, etc.
Requirements
- Masters in Psychology
- Has extensive experience in the field of Child Psychology, esp. in the area of neuro-divergence
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, especially on coaching parents where necessary
