Seeking an individual responsible for managing and coordinating bus operations.The job scope of an Operations Planner Executive primarily revolves around planning, organizing, and optimizing the operational processes of an organization to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

1. Operational Planning & Scheduling

  • Develop and manage operational plans to meet organizational objectives.
  • Create detailed schedules for projects, processes, and workflows to ensure timely completion.
  • Monitor day-to-day operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain efficiency.

2. Resource Allocation

  • Identify and allocate the necessary resources (personnel, materials, equipment) for different tasks.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of resources and manage availability for continuous operations.
  • Track and monitor inventory levels, equipment, and materials, ensuring sufficient stock for ongoing operations.

3. Process Coordination & Optimization

  • Analyze operational processes and workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Implement improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities, ensuring all departments work together efficiently to meet goals.

4. Data Analysis & Forecasting

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to forecast future needs and trends.
  • Use data to identify patterns and adjust operational strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare reports on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and proposing actionable solutions.

5. Supply Chain & Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and service providers to ensure smooth and timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitor the supply chain to prevent disruptions and ensure operational continuity.
  • Oversee logistics operations and ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of goods.

6. Project Management

  • Plan and oversee the execution of projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and time constraints.
  • Coordinate with project teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment with objectives.
  • Track project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.

7. Risk Management & Compliance

  • Identify potential risks within operational processes and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain operational integrity and safety.

8. Team Coordination & Leadership

  • Lead and coordinate with operations teams to ensure successful execution of plans.
  • Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to junior staff to improve their performance.
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration within the operations department and across other functional teams.

9. Vendor & Client Relationship Management

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure seamless supply of resources.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders to keep them updated on operational status and resolve any issues.

10. Budgeting & Cost Management

  • Monitor and control operational budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Analyze expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or efficiency.
  • Prepare financial reports related to operations for upper management review.

An Operations Planner Executive role typically requires excellent planning, organizational, communication, and analytical skills. Familiarity with project management tools, supply chain management, and ERP systems is often essential.
