People & Culture Generalist, Asia Pacific

Singapore

Reporting to the People & Culture Business Partner, Asia Pacific, the People & Culture Generalist, Asia Pacific is responsible for highly confidential and time sensitive materials and serves as the initial point of contact for the Asia Pacific region.

The People & Culture Generalist, Asia Pacific is responsible for all HR operational work including recruitment, shared services, payroll, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, reports and projects activities, and will support the People & Culture Business Partner, Asia Pacific in business partnering with all three (3) wholly owned markets within the Asia Pacific region.

Your responsibilities

  • Liaison with property management and all office vendors for office related matters
  • Handles purchasing and/or leasing of office furnishings, IT equipment, pantry and stationary supplies
  • Handle day-to-day HR general duties and operations including updating and maintaining staff records
  • Provide recruitment support including arranging interview, managing job postings, and applicant correspondence, conducting reference checks
  • Responsible for employee benefits including leave management and insurance claims
  • Process work pass application, statutory claims and training administration
  • Responsible for Singapore HR administration and reporting
  • Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures
  • Manage new hires' onboarding, and exit processes
  • Responsible for all shared services application i.e., preparation of employee letters, company letter, etc.
  • Coordinate employee communications and execute employee events e.g. quarterly company event, employee wellness programs, teambuilding day, etc.
  • Support and coordinate employee development plans and performance management
  • Super user of the Global Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS); ensure and maintain accurate and updated personnel information and records
  • Work closely with Regional HRBP on all HR related initiatives
  • Provide support to Regional HRBP on day-to-day responsibilities, whenever required
  • Assumes and performs other duties and responsibilities not specifically outlined herein, but which are logically and properly inherent to the position

We’re looking for you if your profile matches the following:

  • University degree preferably in HR discipline
  • At least 3 years of experience with strong HR background and capabilities in running full scope HR end-to-end operations
  • Experience using a HRIS system (i.e. SAP Successfactors, EasyPay)
  • Prior Asia Pacific experience will be a plus
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated and service-oriented
  • Highly-organized, to respond to the variety and volume of responsibility
  • Able to work in a high-paced and creative environment with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented
  • Able to work strongly and effectively with cross functional team
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality towards all information
