Role:
- Assist the Fleet Manager in managing vessels’ Safety Management Certificates (SMC).
- Ensure vessels comply with international and local regulations, safety procedures, and environmental protection standards.
- Oversee fleet safety, nautical, and operational requirements.
- Maintain and ensure compliance with ISM, ISPS, and MLC codes for the fleet.
- Conduct crew interviews, training, familiarization, and ensure compliance with MLC standards.
- Monitor, coordinate, and attend to vessels during oil major inspections (SIRE), statutory surveys, and manage related follow-ups.
- Oversee internal audits and internal safety inspections for vessels.
- Investigate and report on incidents and accidents.
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid CoC Class 1 or 2.
- At least 1 year of sailing experience as Officer of the Watch (OOW).
- Strong communication skills, analytical abilities, and a team-oriented mindset.
