Reporting to Manager, Sales & Marketing, this role is responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, driving sales growth and meeting sales and profit targets. The candidate is also required to handle multiple products and markets across various countries and industries and be familiar with diverse product lines and market segments.
Responsibilities
- Monitor current market trend and competitors’ activities using various sales channels for product sales and development
- Understand and respond to customers' needs and inquiries and recommend appropriate services and solutions
- Research and assess markets and customers’ potential, applications and trend of technical requirements and share findings with other team members
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders through regular visits, online meetings and other communication channels
- Lead negotiations with customers on pricing, quantity, delivery terms and other commercial conditions
- Develop and manage sales budget, forecasts and establish pricing strategies
- Coordinate with internal teams for production and product availability
- Provide after-sales support such as following up on customers’ feedback, managing after-sales issues and shipment operations with Logistics team
- Prepare and submit sales documentation and reports and mange other administrative tasks such as submitting forecast changes, price applications, customer registrations etc.
- Create presentation materials for meetings and present technical and commercial proposals to customers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Polymer Science or other related discipline with at least 3 years of sales and marketing or trading roles experience
- Highly self-motivated, independent and resourceful
- Effective team player with good communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Willing to travel frequently for customer visits and business meetings
