Product Manager – Hard Disk Drive
We are seeking for an experienced Product Manager to drive strategic direction, product development, and market positioning for the HDD products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technology sector background, deep HDD market understanding, and capital equipment knowledge.
Job Summary:
- Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive HDD product strategy aligned with company goals and market demands.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and innovation opportunities.
- Product Development: Collaborate with engineering/R&D teams to define product specifications and drive development from concept to launch.
- Customer Engagement: Engage key customers/stakeholders for feedback and insights.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with sales, marketing, and operations teams for successful product launches and sales support.
- Lifecycle Management: Manage product lifecycle from concept to phase-out.
- Performance Monitoring: Track/analyze product performance metrics with Field Service team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of product management experience (HDD/technology industry preferred).
- Strong HDD technology, market dynamics, and competitive landscape understanding.
- Proven track record of successfully launching/ managing technology products.
- Excellent communication/presentation/interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects.
