Job Duties:
· Performs total preventive maintenance (TPM) procedures as planned.
· Performs inspections required by scheduled TPM or Work Order requests.
· Performs basic troubleshooting on mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
· Perform regular maintenance tasks at the facilities in accordance with the SOP.
· Identify and pro-actively respond to maintenance and operation needs.
· Support the Maintenance Supervisor (Mechanical) in performing the maintenance duties.
· Allocate appropriate resources to execute the work order, follow up work order and ensure that resources are used to optimum effect.
· Assessing the need of mechanical spare parts to avoid delays in TPM. Tool & instrument inventory/ maintenance.
· Establish and run small workshop activities.
· Identify and pro-actively respond to abnormality.
· Trouble shoot equipment failure and execute TPM work.
· Attend to equipment breakdowns and propose remedial actions and conduct follow up checks.
· Work to incorporate efficient methods of maintaining new equipment or plant and involved in the installation and commissioning process.
· Ensure all maintenance activities carried out are following relevant quality and environment policies, safety & environmental rules, and regulations requirements.
· Supervise any external vendors providing maintenance services.
· Support the maintenance Supervisor to develop and implement plant improvement plan.
· Complete and maintain accurate, timely documentation and records as required by the Maintenance Supervisor.
· Undertake any other duties as assigned by the management.
Requirement:
- Minimum NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 2 years of experience in a Power Plant environment.
- Possess good working knowledge of all operations in the plant.
