Duration of Service

- Working Hours:
Receptionist 1:Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00 AM to 4:15 PM (inclusive of a 45-minute lunch break)
Fridays: 7:00 AM to 3:45 PM (inclusive of a 45-minute lunch break)
Receptionist 2:Mondays to Thursdays: 8:15 AM to 5:30 PM (inclusive of a 45-minute lunch break)
Fridays: 8:45 AM to 5:30 PM (inclusive of a 45-minute lunch break)
Note: Services are not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.
Scope of Services
The Services required include, but are not limited to:
- Attend to all incoming phone calls, inquiries, and deliveries promptly.
- Assist walk-in students, teachers, parents, visitors, and school stakeholders with care and empathy.
- Contact parents of unwell students to arrange for them to be taken home or to address students who have been absent from school.
- Provide simple first aid to injured or unwell students and maintain the sick bay, including first aid supplies.
- Man the General Office reception counter and ensure it is clean and tidy.
- Manage simple office administrative tasks, such as receiving and directing incoming mails/packages, making trips to the Post Office, and managing/distributing notifications and letters to teachers’ trays.
- Call and engage with parents for administrative matters, e.g., GIRO forms and financial aid supporting documents.
- Perform administrative tasks using basic Microsoft Office applications (data entry, preparing Word documents, and Excel spreadsheets).
- Assist with other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the school, e.g., P1 registration exercise, emergency exercises, etc.
Qualification, Skills & Experience of Personnel
The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
Qualities of Personnel:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read, write, and converse in English.
- Warm personality with strong customer service skills and telephone etiquette.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good team player with initiative.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in front desk reception duties.
- Relevant reception experience in a school setting would be highly advantageous.
- Experience with administrative work using basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- GCE “O” Level certificate with at least 2 “O” Level passes.
