Position: Senior Manager/ Manager, Licensing and Partnerships
Location: Singapore/ Japan
Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Reports to the General Manager for Licensing Division
- Achieve sales goals/objectives through implementation of strategic business development activities, key partnerships, categorical licensing expansion of existing clients and generation of new leads.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, competitors, business opportunities and threats.
- Drive growth initiatives for responsible territories and categories. Licensed content conceptualization to execution
- Work closely with product development and creative team to monitor and ensure quality merchandise are produced and launched timely into the market.
- Managing licensees to ensure full compliance on Brand IPs’ legal policies and contractual obligations.
- Conduct business reviews with licensees to ensure product and marketing plans are effectively launched across various retail and distribution channels and obtaining regular feedback on overall performance.
- Initiate and manage royalties’ payment collections. Ensure that licensees submit royalty/marketing reports and sales forecast in a timely manner.
- Work closely with team and partners to cultivate direct to retail accounts for respective licensors and categories.
- Foster strong working relationships with Brand IPs’ owners and licensees to drive long-term partnerships.
Requirements:
- University Degree in Business related qualifications or extensive professional experience.
- Good written and oral English communication skills. (Proficiency of Japanese language would be highly desirable)
- Minimum 3 to 6 years of working experience in sales and account management, experience in licensing industry will be an added advantage.
- Proven track record in delivering revenue against planned budget. Able to multi-task job load and prioritize work efforts.
- Ability to interface with partners from various levels/backgrounds and exert influence on business decision
- Possess strong spirit of teamwork and high levels of pro-activeness.
- Would be required to travel within the region.
