Location: Hong Wen School, 30 Towner Road, Singapore 327829
Duration of Service
- Contract Period: From 1 Jan 2025 to 15 Nov 2025
- Working Hours:Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays: 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM (inclusive of a 0.5-hour break)
Total: 15 hours per week (3 days)
Deployment hours are capped at 15 hours weekly.
Scope of Services
The main duties include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy laboratory environment.
- Ensure that all apparatus and equipment are safe and clean for use.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, apparatus, materials, and specimens in good working condition.
- Report all faulty machines and equipment immediately, and display an “Out of Order” sign prominently.
- Ensure the appropriate disposal of glass apparatus or breakages.
- Keep Bunsen burners and high-risk items (data loggers and microscopes) properly stored and secured.
- Inspect Bunsen burners to ensure they are in good condition.
- Maintain a stock book and breakage record for necessary replacements.
- Check and replenish first aid supplies.
- Assist Science teachers in preparing resources for laboratory lessons.
- Aid Science teachers during laboratory lessons, as required.
- Assist with clearing up after laboratory lessons, as required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Science Head of Department (HOD).
Qualification, Skills & Experience of Personnel
A) The Personnel shall possess the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
- Experience working in Science Labs in Primary Schools.
- Proficiency in speaking, writing, and understanding English.
B) The Personnel should preferably be familiar with using phone messaging apps and emails.
