Location: Umar Pulavar Tamil Language Centre (UPTLC), 2 Beatty Road, Singapore 209954
Contract Duration: From 21 November 2024 to 20 November 2025
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
- Occasional Saturdays: Service may be required (compensated with time-off)
Responsibilities:
The Personnel shall perform the following duties:
- User Administration:Account creation, password resets, and management of Active Directory, printers, servers, Outlook, school websites & portals, VPN, Wi-Fi, and mobile devices.
- Technical Support:Configure, install, and maintain school-owned IT equipment, including hardware and software.
Provide end-user training and guidance to empower colleagues with relevant ICT skillsets.
- Video Conferencing Support:Facilitate video conferences and webinars through applications like MS Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and Skype.
Assist hosts, panelists, trainers, and participants during large-scale meetings, conferences, special events, and workshops.
- Contract and Project Management:Manage contracts for ICT projects, liaise with ICT vendors, and support project management activities.
- Asset and Inventory Management:Maintain departmental assets and inventory documentation.
Track and update IT records, licenses, asset loaning, and distribution of IT equipment.
- Website Management:Create new landing pages, maintain and update website content, and optimize website performance.
- Videography and Photography:Set up equipment, plan camera angles, determine lighting, and capture moments for events like annual ceremonies, project launches, prize presentations, and graduations.
Edit videos using a variety of software, ensuring high-quality post-production.
- Technical Consultation:Act as the technical focal point for IT Shared Services and provide support for complex scenarios.
Analyze and resolve issues related to end-user devices and IT infrastructure.
- User Support and Documentation:Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions using appropriate ticketing systems.
Manage and review technical escalations on complex scenarios and incidents.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education:Diploma in ICT or related field.
- Experience:Minimum of 5 years of relevant ICT experience, preferably in MOE Singapore schools.
- Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of user administration, network management, and ICT equipment maintenance.
Proficient in video conferencing tools and event support.
Experience in videography and video editing software.
- Interpersonal Skills:Excellent communication, planning, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Ability to multi-task and work both independently and as part of a team.
