Job Description:
- Key responsibilities for this role include being involved in various project stages which include designing the solution, site and technology assessment, and technical consultations.
- Also tasked to manage the budget, schedules and quality. To oversee the delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment, and the quality of construction, staff productivity, and safety.
- Put under control several ongoing projects at the same time.
- Engage in plant operations and maintenance work, with a proven track record of leading projects (civil, mechanical, electrometric, maintenance work, etc.).
- Engage and establish close relationship with their clients and to search for new opportunities for further businesses.
- Manage the department and give supports to other teams.
- Other ad hoc duties if assigned by managements.
- Coordination and engagements with vendors and OEMs to specify technical specifications and data sheets.
- To ensure that works are carried out according to specifications, drawings without compromising on quality and safety.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the field of plant engineering design and construction experience in petrochemical, chemical and industrial plants. Consistent career experience in the engineering department.
- Experience in the design of engineering systems and equipment including boilers, turbines, compressors, pumps, and heat exchangers.
- Track record of successfully delivering chemical & industrial projects on time and within budget.
- Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software tools such as Smartplant 3D, Caesar II or similar plant engineering tool and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of industrial plant design principles, process and operation philosophy
- Well-verse with industry standards and best practices for design, maintenance, and reliability.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment and with the Clients and Stakeholders.
