Corporate Secretarial Manager

Our client is a distinguished professional services firm with a regional presence, seeking to recruit a Corporate Secretarial Manager/Senior Manager. This role demands strong leadership abilities and experience in corporate secretarial work for listed companies.


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client servicing within the group and act as the Named Company Secretary for clients.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships by delivering exceptional service and ensuring prompt responses to client inquiries and requests.
  • Gain comprehensive understanding of existing and prospective clients, including their industries and key stakeholders.
  • Manage and update statutory registers and books for your assigned client portfolio.
  • Oversee the preparation, coordination, and submission of statutory forms and documents to regulatory bodies such as the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority, Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore, the Stock Exchange, and The Central Depository (Pte) Limited, ensuring compliance with deadlines.
  • Supervise the daily operations of the group, ensuring that all client communications are handled efficiently and effectively.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing current policies, procedures, and client service arrangements, aligning with evolving business and regulatory practices.

Requirements:

  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • In-depth understanding of the Listing Manual, Companies Act, Catalist Rules, Securities and Futures Act, and Insolvency, Restructuring, and Dissolution Act procedures and guidelines.
  • Demonstrated expertise in client servicing with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with View Point (experience preferred).
  • Ideally, hold a qualification from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) or an equivalent body.
