COO Intern (12 months)

Job purpose:

  • Full time 12 months internship position
  • Support COO Asia Office with a focus on internal/employee communications, events and department administration

Key activities:

Primary activities:

  • Management of COO Asia Office SharePoints and Comnet (intranet) pages.
  • Drafting of internal and employee articles for Asia for multi-channel delivery on intranet, SharePoints and other delivery channels where appropriate.
  • Develop digital assets such as employee testimony video statements and produce videos for internal communication channels promoting the franchise in Asia.
  • Provide communications support for regional employee communications initiatives such as Singapore Corporate & Social Responsibility Council.
  • Coordinate and support complex VC and conference call logistics for internal events like regional town halls and staff teach-ins (masterclasses, Lunch & Learn) regionally.
  • Support Events lead for the region in virtual and onsite client / staff events; end-to-end event management as required.
  • Assist COO Asia Office in general administrative tasks where required.

Secondary activities:

  • Support Regional Board Member Asia Office and Divisional Board Member Office (Frankfurt) as directed and provide ad-hoc support where required.

Formal education:

  • University graduate

Specialist knowledge (work experience, further qualification):

  • English native speaker with excellent writing and elocution skills.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint is mandatory.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office is mandatory: Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Basic proficiency in video production software is an advantage.
  • Conversational Mandarin or German is an advantage but not essential.
  • Basic understanding of the financial markets and regulations, in particular Europe and Asia is an advantage but not essential.
  • Able to demonstrate an exceptional degree of initiative, international exposure, high EQ and situational awareness, a team player who also knows how to work independently.
  • Singaporeans and Singaporean PRs preferred
