We are a US MNC specializes in optics manufacturing looking for a process engineer in optics cleaning.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for yield improvement
- Responsible for increasing coating capability (new product or process transfer)
- Responsible for developing & expanding department’s knowledge on optical substrate surface properties & cleaning processes
- Responsible for ISO, standard process documentation, training and auditing of manufacturing work processes.
Education
- Degree in in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics or its equivalent.
Skills
- Strong analytical & project management skills.
- Good technical knowledge of chemical & optical properties of materials, in particular silicon, zinc selenide, germanium, gallium arsenide
- Knowledge of ultrasonic wet cleaning and advanced drying techniques
- Knowledge of the following methodologies & principles: DOE, FMEA, SPC, TQM.
- Knowledge of work safety practices, handling of industrial/ hazardous materials and emergency response procedures.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving
Other Requirement
- Must commit to Overseas Training duration of 6 weeks at Coherent in United States. Bond period of 1.5 years start from end date of training. Plan Date will be decided after local training in Singapore
- Must be able to work on 5-day work week 8am to 5.30pm with occasional rostered workday fall on a weekend. (example, Tuesday to Saturday) after probation
- Will be exposed to low level of radiation with safety protection measure in place per NEA guideline
- Must not have defective color vision as optics process requires visual check
