The Opportunity
- People Management - Leads and manages an on-site technical team of 5 to 10 people by being available on-site (e.g. daily stand-up) and providing guidance on IT Operations Management.
- Productivity Analysis - Analyses workload such as backlog, incident, service request, change request, ad-hoc, meetings, work-hours, etc and communicate productivity to internal and external stakeholders. Negotiate priorities and resources if needed.
- Customer Facing – Primary point of contact for customer. Understand the agreed scope of work and manage customer expectations. Notify Service Manager of any opportunities or commercial matters.
- Reporting - Prepares and provide IT operational status for monthly meetings and quarter SteerCo meetings.
Your Background
- Proven experience in managing IT operations, including network, systems, and cloud environments.
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure management and systems on-premise and on-cloud.
- Good understanding of virtualization and back-up systems.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of engineers and coordinate with other departments.
- Experience in implementing ITIL best practices and a strong understanding of operational security and compliance.
