Overview:

  • Lead & Drive the sales growth of Kemin AquaScience division and contribute to the vision of the organization
  • Setting the strategic direction for the execution of sales plans and initiatives including: strategic planning, sales growth, customer relationship excellence and problem resolution
  • Expected to be jointly responsible for providing business leadership, strategic directions and be accountable for the overall business KPIs of the company. Work closely as a team member, manage and lead the company towards achievement of the overall company’s shared goals
  • Assist Management in with ongoing and future acquisitions for Business Growth

Work Environment:

  • The position will be based at the head office in Singapore and will require traveling both regionally and internationally depends upon the needs of the regional and global requirements
  • The position will perform active and effective role in participating with World Wide Leadership team meeting, Exhibitions, Trade shows of National and International importance, Frequent visits to key customers projects,ultimately contributing to overall sales and inturn business. Overall the position demands about 50% of travel


Responsibilities:

  • Lead Kemin AquaScience team to implement sales strategy and achieve business targets in APAC and South Asia
  • Responsible for the attainment of all budget numbers, management of people, setting goals and development of the business in a holistic manner
  • Develops annual sales plan in line with the company strategy, market research, and competitor analyses
  • Develop long-term relationship with chosen accounts, ensuring customer retention
  • Lead and coach personnel to ensure their success in sales efforts
  • Design sales projects and coordinate team members to implement projects as scheduled
  • Provide monthly sales results, expense, and forecast reports by territory to management
  • Identify and establish opportunities and markets for new products and also establish new markets for existing products
  • Ensuring timely recognition and reward for top achievers and implementing performance management actions when needed
  • Leading the team and inspiring high performance by providing strong mentorship, coaching, and guidance
  • Building strong and collaborative relationships with other internal stakeholders
  • Analysing sales performance data and implementing strategies for improvement
  • Monitoring market trends and providing regular competitor analysis and preparing strategy to drive sales and sales team
  • Collaborating with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and customer needs
  • Keep influencers and decision makers informed of business progress
  • Promote cohesion and collaboration amongst the different internal functions


Requirements:

  • A Vetenerian or Sales professional with BVSc/MVSc/Biochemistry/Chemistry/Microbiology or other related discipline from a reputed University with more than 15+ years of experience, with at least 5+ years of leadership responsibility, with global exposure
  • Broad experience in scaling and leading high-performing sales teams with proven track record of accomplishment in Sales
  • Strong experience in consultative sales and possess the ability to prospect and manage senior-level relationships
  • Possesses strong Servant Leadership attributes with good business leadership acumen
  • Project team player and Sales coach
  • Effective presentation skill / Communication / Decision-making
  • Project management skills including forecasting, project planning and development of project timeline.
  • Able to set priorities, delegate responsibility, meet the target and working under pressure when time demands
  • Passionate about Sales, processes and methodological working
  • Strong business acumen
  • Strategic thinking/planning, collaborative and team builder
