Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 3D Mechanical Modeler to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise and functional mechanical models for 3D printing, supporting project requirements, and ensuring the designs are optimized for manufacturing processes. This role requires a strong background in mechanical design and CAD software, along with a passion for innovative problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed 3D mechanical models and technical drawings based on client specifications.
- Collaborate with the design team to optimize models for 3D printing, CNC, and other manufacturing techniques.
- Create and modify CAD files using software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or AutoCAD.
- Conduct feasibility analysis and recommend design modifications to enhance part performance and manufacturability.
- Communicate technical details and project updates to internal teams and external clients.
- Support prototyping and production by ensuring models meet all functional, aesthetic, and material requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in 3D modeling, CAD design, and mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Understanding of additive manufacturing technologies and material properties.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
