RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This is an exciting Project/Programme Management opportunity to be part of the Singapore CTOO Transformation team – a function which partners with ABS, Industry, Regulators, and Internal Stakeholders to deliver pan-bank Industry and Regulatory Projects/Programs.
  • Partnering with ABS and Industry Work Groups in developing requirements and specifications for the industry and regulatory led projects.
  • The key focus of this role is successful delivery of the industry projects by engaging stakeholders from Business, Operations and Technology teams.
  • The role requires strong Project Management and Agile Methodologies skills to manage Project Life Cycle - Initiation including obtaining approvals/backlog prioritization by QPR and Hive teams, Execution Requirements/User Stories, Design & Build and Testing and Implementation & Post Go-Live BAU Transition.
  • The scope of this role goes across various Business, Product and Functions of country and group. It includes a blend of Functional and Technology domains and provides broader exposure to Banking Products and Process.
  • Ability to work with onshore and offshore teams and embrace diverse and inclusive environment to thrive high performance.

Strategy

  • Drive the Specification, Execution, and Implementation of the Industry/Regulatory Led Projects by ensuring the proposed solution align to T&O Strategy 25.
  • Formulate and lead matrix Project Organization with shared accountability across businesses and functions to deliver the Projects with-in baseline schedule and cost.
  • Ensure safe landing of Project Changes by adhering to Group Technology Change Management governance processes and Country PPIR processes.
  • Work in partnership with the stakeholders to ensure the proposed solution is consistent, secure, and resilient by assessing risks including – Architectural Review, Information Security, Change Risk Assessment and Third-Party Security Risk Assessment.
  • Measure and track financials & schedule to ensure the delivery is alignment to the baseline cost and schedule plans.
  • Keep the clients at the heart of project scope and solutions to create great experience for them

Business

  • Ensure the industry/regulatory specifications and requirements are delivered and the stipulated timeline met.
  • Review Project progress and provide steer where the deliverables are lagging.
  • Support delivery teams/squads to resolve issues and mitigate the execution risks.
  • Escalate and seek management support where required to resolve showstopper issues that significantly impact the delivery.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to enhance client experience and innovation to enhance revenue potential
  • Facilitate suitable executive forum (e.g., Pgsc) with the required representation from Country and Group Business, Function and Technology stakeholders.

Processes

  • Deliver projects by adhering to Bank’s Project Management Standards and Software Development Framework (SDF)
  • Ensure the Production changes follow Bank’s Technology Change Management Process
  • Lead the Project teams to complete the required Third-Party Security Risk Assessment and SCBuy processes.
  • Develop and track Financial, Schedule and resource plans through Bank’s tools such as Clarity and Planview

People & Talent

  • Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Sets appropriate tone and expectations and work in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Is a key contributor to performance feedback to Transformation and Technology Operations management for key Group Technology personnel in country and ensure that such personnel objectives adequately reflect country TTO needs.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams with different backgrounds in matrix teams and help embed a culture of continuous improvement

Risk Management

  • Identify all the Project Risks through GRAM and CRA process and develop monitoring and mitigation plans for the identified risks.
  • Steer the Project Teams to complete the required Information Security Assessment and comply to MAS TRM Guidelines
  • Engage stakeholders to complete SCBuy process and Third Party Security Assessment as required
  • Effective escalation and mitigation/resolution of key risks are critical for successful delivery
  • ​​​​​​​Govern the Projects and Programmes following Bank’s Project Management Standards, Software Development Framework and Project Governance Policy.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Financial Services.
  • Strong Project/Programme Management Experience with Relevant Certification.
  • Change agent and critical thinker with interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience or understanding of various technology platforms and tools (core-banking, Backoffice and payment systems, reconciliation, and finance applications)
  • Proficiency in using collaboration tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, Mural and reporting tools Tableau, Clarity, JIRA and Planview.
  • Proven ability to prioritise issues within a large, rapidly changing environment and manage a wide variety or high volume of tasks while maintaining quality delivery.
  • Understands the operational environment, processes and controls needed to execute requirements.
  • A results-driven professional who takes ownership to deliver, with a high level of flexibility and a preparedness to ‘roll up his/her sleeves’ to get the job done.
  • Proven success in holding individuals accountable for progress against agreed deliverables.

  • Degree in computer science or engineering or banking and finance or equivalant
  • Certifications: Project Management Professional
  • Certified scrum master
  • Certified product owner
