Requirements:
- BSEE or MSEE graduate from a recognized university;
- At least 7 years experience in Schematic Capture and PCB Layout Design using Altium Designer, or equivalent;
- At least 7 years experience in design-for-manufacturing in a manufacturing environment;
- At least 5 years experience in IPC-A-620 or IPC Class 3 or MIL Std;
- At least 3 years experience in embedded C programming.
- Experience in product development involving Environment Qualification Testing (EQT) and Environment Stress Screening (ESS) will be an added advantage;
- Electrical systems design and integration with a view of cable management for large format platform systems for high voltage or high current mobility;
- Design and troubleshoot multi-layered printed Circuit Boards
- Generate manufacturing standards Structured EBOM for manufacturing department;
Responsibilities:
- This is an Individual contributor position the requires hands-on board level design and system integration;
- Support design or product bring-up depending on if projects are ODM or OEM delivery model;
- Work closely with the R&D team (System Integration, Software/Firmware Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers)
- Identify Customer’s technical specifications.
- Plan the overall Architecture of the electronics board layout, systems layout, cable management for integration with mechanical and production department colleagues;
- Support Bid proposals, Lifecycle System Design Documentation, User Manual and User training, troubleshooting, failure analysis, field advisory role for site maintenance crew.
