Responsibilities:
• Responsible for project delivery, which includes solution implementing, migration, and upgrading for Oracle Standalone, HA and DR set up for PAAS services like Exadata, Autonomous Databases (ATP, ADW), RAC & Dataguard together with FS/ASM/ACFS under all types of platforms.
• Responsible for implementing backup utilities or tools like RMAN & EXPDP/IMPDP, CRSCTL, SRVCTL, NetBackup, Networker and have implemented backup/recovery of Oracle databases for various scenarios
• Responsible for activities such as handling ALERT/Change Request /Service Request /Incidents and able to perform this independently and effectively. Able to lead, prioritize, handle, and allocate tasks among the team and troubleshoot DB-related issues effectively.
• Must be good at performing scripting and making use of automation tools (ansible) to automate regular DBA admin tasks such as monitoring, patching, and self-healing.
• Must be able to perform database performance tuning including I/O, Load Analysis, ADDR, AWR, SQL Profiling, etc
•Able to perform Oracle OEM 12C/13C setup and integration of DB to OEM.
• He/She will be responsible for facing customers on all operational issues and activities
• Strong experience in performing configuration and troubleshooting of Golden Gate replication components
• Perform impact analysis of DB Change / DB Design Change etc.
• Good understanding of core support processes and change management, maintain documentation standards
Requirements:
· Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree (MCA / BE / BSC or SC computer science)
· Strong leadership, independent and self-motivated
· Good understanding of ITIL processes, DB backup utilities, and project management
· Able to communicate effectively
· Oracle 10g/11g/12c/18c/19c OCP certification is must
· Having Oracle RAC certification will be an added advantage
· Having previous banking BAU support will be an added advantage
· Having experience in additional database technologies MSSQL DB2 or Sybase will be an added advantage
· At least 7 years (s) of working experience as a senior Oracle DBA is required for this position.
· Preferably Senior Executives specializing in IT/Computer – Network / System/ Database Admin or equivalent.
