Procurement Engineer

- Remuneration: $2400 - $4200 (Depending on experience)
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday; 8.30am – 5.30pm
- Location: Tuas (2 Way Transport provided at Marsling and Jurong East MRT)

Job Responsibilities:
- Source new suppliers for materials and services, expanding the supplier base for current and future needs.
- Obtain competitive quotes and drive cost-reduction initiatives.
- Lead price negotiations to ensure cost competitiveness.
- Conduct supplier qualifications and add approved suppliers to the vendor list.
- Regularly review supplier performance to maintain quality and reliability.
- Maintain procurement SOPs for consistent workflows
- Collaborate with departments to ensure supply continuity with minimal inventory.
- Negotiate favorable supply agreements.
- Provide quotations to the Sales department for standard and custom products.
- Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineer will be preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge in components sourcing and fabrication parts will be advantageous
