The Front-End Developer will be part of the global CoE Software Solutions team within Markets IT based in Singapore. The role involves ensuring active risk management and meeting all regulatory and internal compliance expectations. Working closely with team members in both Singapore and Zurich, the incumbent will help maintain the current trading platform and contribute to the development of new libraries and frameworks. Operating in an agile environment, the developer will interact with traders, business owners, and other stakeholders to capture requirements and implement innovative solutions. Additionally, the incumbent will provide first-class support to the business and stakeholders as part of the global team working on global applications.

• Solicit and discuss requirements and solutions with business owners and stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates to key stakeholders through various communication channels.
• Participate in the Program Increment (PI) planning process within Markets.
• Support change management and release rollout planning.
• Provide dedicated post-implementation support locally in Asia.
• Demonstrate appropriate values and behaviors including honesty, integrity, due care, and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Uphold risk management and regulatory standards, including fair dealing, conflict of interest management, and continuous development.

• Profound hands-on JavaScript programming skills.
• Deep knowledge of current JavaScript frameworks (React/JS) and technologies (Typescript, Node.js).
• Understanding of Unix operating systems and bash scripting.
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Work experience in the financial industry is preferable.
• Very good English communication skills.
This is a 1 year initial contract role that till be converted to perm.
