Strategic Planning & Business Development Division (SPBD) conducts macro analysis and explore business opportunities from the standpoint of market growth. Client target markets by considering their current and future growth in ASEAN and Australasia and potential for opportunities for all technology in specific and related industries. Your role will be crucial to our objectives as you conduct market research with internal and external resources to identify future trends and organize strategic opportunities and plans.
Job Description:
• Partner with Management/key stakeholders to identify the key business opportunities, create research brief and develop research plan that delivers compelling insights.
• Lead, develop and manage primary consumer research execution for data collection and reporting, and conduct advanced analysis when needed.
• Communicate and deliver meaningful research results to key stakeholders and support insights communication.
• Work closely with Japan HQ and each division to align partnership and channel strategies with broader business goals.
• Develop and manage detailed operational timelines to ensure all studies are executed on time and within budget.
• Foster strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and long-term partnership success.
• Monthly management reporting
Job Requirements:
• Min. Degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing or Economics or equivalent
• At least 5 years relevant experience
• Good at analysing public and private sector data and formulate business strategies, based on understanding of the macro-economic trend
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal)
• Fluent in both English and Japanese to liaise with Japan HQ and counterparts
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, adept to produce PowerPoint slides and presentations
• Strong analytical, organising, negotiation, project & team management skills
• Able to work independently
• Logical and meticulous
• Able to travel abroad
