Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Preparation of annual statutory financial statements; Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Statement of Cashflows in accordance with applicable financial reporting standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for Finance Manager / Senior Management review.
- Maintain General Ledger in Quickbooks and prepare supporting schedules.
- Prepare /Review bank reconciliations of all entities.
- Prepare / Update Fixed Assets Register, compute monthly depreciation / amortization.
- Other ad hoc financial analysis & reporting as and when required.
Cashflow management
- Manage Accounts Receivable controlling including preparation and review of A/R Aging, follow-up on overdue accounts and trigger Credit Hold on customer shipments on delinquent accounts.
- Prepare / Review payment proposals for vendor invoices due for payment & prepare payments via e-banking.
- Assist Finance Manager on preparation of Weekly Cash Forecast - reporting the expected cash inflow and planned usage for the upcoming weeks / months.
Payroll Admin Support
- Prepare QuickHR monthly payroll and initiate GIRO to staff for CEO approval.
- Prepare and submit monthly CPF filings, annual IR8A, IR21 filings for tax clearance.
- Review staff claims monthly for compliance to company policies, arrange payments.
Tax & Legal Compliance
- Prepare monthly US Sales tax schedule and analysis on tax statuses
- Prepare and submit the quarterly GST report
- Review & perform the audit for GST compliance and renewal for Major Export Scheme (MES) requirements.
- Manage requirements of Government Grants including submission of claims etc.
- Provision of compliance information to regulators for example filing statutory surveys
- Ensure accurate transaction history and audit trail.
- Liaise with the auditors and prepare all the required audit schedules, when necessary
- Keeping company records organized and readily available for examination.
REPORTS TO FINANCE MANAGER / CONTROLLER
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in Odoo ERP and Quickbooks is an added advantage.
- Strong Excel knowledge.
- Takes initiative to drive projects and tasks independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
