We are seeking a results-driven Sales and Business Development Manager to spearhead our efforts in the headphones, speakers and accessories market. This role is crucial for driving sales growth, building strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for audio products, a deep understanding of market trends, and the ability to lead a sales team effectively.
The successful candidate will report to the SEA/ANZ/MEA Sales Leader. In the execution of daily business operations, she/he will need to interact with internal functions of Marketing, Supply Chain, Regional Product Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet revenue targets for assigned product categories.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive factors within the audio and accessories sector.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, distributors, and partners to increase market penetration.
- Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive networking and outreach efforts.
- Sales Team Leadership: Mentor and guide the sales team, providing training on product features, sales techniques, and effective customer relationship management.
- Collaboration with Product Teams: Partner closely with product development and marketing teams to ensure product offerings align with customer needs and market demands.
- Sales Reporting: Regularly prepare and present sales forecasts, performance metrics, and market insights to senior management.
- Customer Engagement: Deliver product demonstrations and presentations, highlighting the unique features and benefits of our headphones and accessories.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure favorable terms and maximize profitability.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in sales and business development, particularly within the consumer electronics space; experience in headphones, speakers, and mobile/home accessories is a plus.
- Strong industry network.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage senior external and internal stakeholders effectively.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Ability to analyze sales data and derive actionable insights.
- A university degree is preferred but not essential.
