We seek a proactive individual to take a central role in crafting and executing event marketing and communication plans. This is a 6 months contract role with potential conversion to a perm role. This role will be crucial in achieving immediate and long-term marketing and event objectives.
He/She will play a part in all event operations and marketing areas, including creative, financial, administration and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities
- Marcom Support: Assist in planning, developing, and executing marketing and communication initiatives to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Content Creation: Contribute to projects related to branding, content creation, and social media marketing, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging.
- Website Management: Update website content and compile traffic reports to monitor and enhance online performance.
- Collateral Delivery: Prepare and distribute event collateral, including ads, banners, print materials, and promotional gifts.
- Partnership Management: Ensure media partners and supporting organisations meet the requirements outlined in agreements, including tracking advertisements in various publications.
- Sponsor Fulfillment: Track and ensure all entitlements for GSTCE sponsors are met and documented.
- Event Management: Execute corporate events, tradeshows, and other special events, ensuring they align with marketing goals and deliver a strong brand presence. ––
- Data Analysis: Compile and analyse onsite surveys and marketing campaigns data to assess performance and guide future strategies.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks to support the team.
Requirements
- Strong desire to learn and a proactive professional drive
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with marketing software and online applications, including CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), video editing tools, and social media marketing
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro)
- Passion for event management and a keen understanding of best practices
