Job Responsibilities
• Manage information technology and computer systems
• Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
• Outline, define and initiate projects. Monitor project progress and implement changes where necessary.
• Prepares project reports and informing management regarding problems. Ensure project complies with best practices.
• Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
• Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
• Implement document control policies and documentation templates
• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
• Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
• Audit systems and assess their outcomes
• Preserve assets, information security and control structures
• Monitor expenditures in accordance with budget. Ensure cost effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with objectives, organizational policies, procedures and standards
Requirements
• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Required Skill(s): • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems, • Management and leadership skills
• Preferably Manager specialized in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
• Proven working experience as an IT manager or relevant experience
• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
• Excellent in Microsoft Windows software, including Server, Office, and Exchange
• Expertise in data centre management and data governance
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
• Management and leadership skills
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar
