Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), University of the Arts Singapore, an esteemed arts institution with a global reputation seeks an administratively strongSenior/Executive Officer (Programmes & Partnerships) at the School of Music (SOM).

Through a faculty-specific, practice-led, industry-focused curriculum, SOM seeks to educate students about global music sphere and expose them to a variety of industry experiences – ultimately empowering the next generation of musicians with artistry, the courage to create and to make their marks in the music industry.
Key Responsibilities
Concert Production
1. You will be required to work with a team of fellow Executive Officers, Technical Officers and Student Assistants to provide innovative pedagogical enhancements, as well as production of live, digital, and hybrid performance-presentations.
2. Together with faculty and academic support staff, support and adapt modules relating to digital-driven, enterprise-oriented, and industry-experiential domains. Showcase students, staff and alumni through curated projects to enhance the visibility of Programmes under the SOM.
3. You will curate weekly performances, masterclasses, lectures and other events aligned with the music curriculum and course objectives, in consultation with the leaders of the School. Direct publicity efforts for SOM events with support from Corporate Communications Office (CCO), Industry Partners, and media correspondents, correspond with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely production and distribution.
4. You will provide administrative support for visiting professors and guest artists in areas of hospitality, teaching, performance resources and remuneration as well as manage a team of student assistants to coordinate logistic support for events and other projects when needed.
Support (Logistics and Technical)
1. You will manage production of archival and assessment media (e.g. academic presentations and recital examination videos) by Technical Officers, facilitate administrative and logistical processes for SOM highlight events and activities (e.g. Nanyang International Music Competition) and overseas projects/immersion programmes, coordinate SOM staff, student and alumni efforts for Open House, Fun Day, Convocation, as well as other Academy events.
2. You will be pivotal in highlighting SOM students, staff and alumni through unique and regular efforts in collaboration with other departments; to identify and showcase talents through collaborative and/or interdisciplinary projects, support ongoing targeted recruitment and fund-raising efforts.
3. In the area of administration for Professional Development assessments and initiatives; you will help to identify and implement suitable faculty-oriented/soft skills/digital skills workshops in partnership with Education & Career Guidance Office (ECG) and work with Academic Care Mentors/Industry Mentors to grade and showcase outstanding Graduation Profiles on Graduation Portal.
Requirements & Qualifications
You should possess a Diploma qualification in music or arts discipline, with a minimum 5 years’ industry experience.
You should be resourceful and proactive in addressing issues, possess good organisational and coordination skills, are a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
To succeed in this role, you should also be proficient in MS Office Suite.
