Job Description
- Develop and implement analytics applications to transform raw data using programming languages and visualization software.
- Apply data mining, modeling, NLP, and machine learning to analyze large structured and unstructured datasets.
- Visualize, interpret, and report data findings, including creating dynamic reports.
- Maintain existing BI solutions and ETL pipelines while proposing improvements.
- Collaborate with architects, stakeholders, business analysts, and project managers to gather requirements and define technical solutions.
- Develop detailed technical work plans, estimates, improvement plans, and status reports.
- Conduct regular peer reviews, maintain low technical debt, and upskill junior staff.
- Ensure adherence to CACIB code of conduct and compliance rules.
- Contribute to department-level initiatives (continuous improvement, innovation).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer studies.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in the finance industry, ideally in a banking environment.
- At least 3 years of development experience using the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack, covering:
Tabular Analysis Services
Data warehousing
Performance tuning
Data transformations and quality checks
Power BI dashboarding and reporting
- Good exposure and experience with CI/CD tools/ processes, preferably Azure DevOps.
- Ability to design and present technical solutions to architects and the team.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to data science technologies or competitive data processing tools (e.g., Python, Spark).
- Experience with test-driven development.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools.
