The Role
GM Sales - IT Infrastructure and Solution will be responsible for the Sales Target planning, Revenue and billing management, Cash Collection, Profit targets, Delivery and Sales cycle management of large of IT Services Solutions and Projects. These large solutions projects are typically the ones that enable customer-facing IT departments to help grow and facilitate their own businesses.
The GM will lead a team of 5-6 Sales executive and will be responsible for the Target of about 20-25 million Revenue per annum in the Government and Commercial sector
The GM should be well versed to do Senior Sales, AI/Software based solution sales, Large Government Tenders and manage the full cycle of sales
He or she will also be responsible for the Profit and loss of the business unit and will lead the Sales, Product and strategy and the whole business unit including vendor management
The GM will also have a dotted line control on project and delivery managers
Additional Responsibilities
GM IT Infrastructure must ensure the organisation's Sales and delivery systems and processes are smoothly followed and fully operational.
The GM Sales is also responsible for:
Plan standard sales measurement and target allocation for sales teams, weekly and monthly KPI measurement systems for sales teams
Maintain pipeline control, sales call management, activity tracking and logs
Build Sales and infrastructure planning strategy in collaboration with large / Major accounts to create pipeline
Work closely with finance and billing systems
Vendor management for timely delivery
Revenue and sales management of the BU team
Profit target and collection management for the whole sales team
Growth of services revenue management
Skills and Qualifications
Graduate or post graduate in Computer science / IT or any recognised degree qualifications on Technology discipline or tertiary education in computer science or software development is recommended
It is also recommended to have:
Management experience of 8-10 years in the IT infrastructure space with a systems integrator or a large vendor
Minimum 5 years of that should technology or IT Infrastructure sales experience in Singapore
Singapore IT market knowledge is a must
Budgeting and recruitment experience
In-depth knowledge of servers and networks, data organisation, and both hard- and software solutions prevalent in the market in Singapore and ASEAN
Experience in business analytics or administration
Client relationship management skills should be excellent
Previous Sales experience within IT infrastructure large project management is a must
