Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Cloud Landing Zones for application and server migration to Azure and AWS platforms.
- Develop cloud migration strategies following the 7 R’s framework to leverage IaaS and PaaS solutions.
- Lead the cloud solutioning team in Singapore, providing secure and scalable cloud solutions tailored to AWS and Azure clients.
- Conduct in-depth cloud architecture reviews, optimizing for security, performance, and cost-efficiency.
- Manage and lead comprehensive cloud migration projects, transitioning on-premises infrastructure to AWS or Azure.
- Develop technical architecture roadmaps aligned with business goals and infrastructure capabilities.
- Manage the design, cost, performance, and security aspects of IT infrastructure on public cloud platforms.
- Ensure customer workloads adhere to the Well-Architected Framework (AWS & Azure), focusing on security, performance, and resilience.
- Architect data analytics solutions using Azure Synapse and Azure Machine Learning.
- Implement cloud security best practices, including VPC design, IAM roles, encryption at rest and transit, and other critical security measures.
- Integrate and manage API services using AWS API Gateway and Azure API Management (APIM).
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines leveraging GitLab for Terraform deployments, integrating with GCC SHIP & HATS.
- Architect AWS resources (network, compute, storage) based on the Well-Architected Framework principles.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using AWS ECS (Fargate, ECS on EC2) and Kubernetes, using YAML configurations.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate infrastructure deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, design cloud architectures, and provide technical guidance for AWS and Azure projects.
- Apply knowledge of Singapore Government Agencies IT infrastructure
- Design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for cloud-based applications, ensuring high availability and business continuity.
- Design and manage Active Directory, DNS, and patching solutions in the cloud environment.
- Architect hybrid IT infrastructures, ensuring high availability for mission-critical applications.
- Integrate cloud-native security and automation tools into new and existing cloud environments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience in cloud architecture and solution design with AWS and Azure.
- Proven track record of leading cloud migration projects and providing technical cloud solution guidance.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles, VPC design, IAM, and encryption practices.
- Experience in container orchestration with Kubernetes and AWS ECS.
- Familiarity with Singapore Government IT infrastructure and regulatory frameworks is a strong plus.
- Relevant certifications in AWS and Azure (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
