Job Responsibility
- Provide insights and recommendations on optimizing bunkering operations and supply chain efficiency
- Develop and recommend strategies for market expansion, customer retention, and revenue growth
- Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies, particularly in areas of regulatory compliance and operational safety
- Assist in developing company policies to meet regulatory requirements, particularly regarding environmental sustainability and safety standards
- Conduct operational audits and recommend improvements to ensure best practices in safety, fuel handling, and environmental protection
- Assist the sales and business development teams in identifying new opportunities within the maritime sector
- Provide expert analysis on market trends, competitive landscape, and potential clients
- Offer strategic advice on expanding the company’s client base, service offerings, and geographic reach
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, regulatory bodies, port authorities, and clients
- Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory agencies to ensure smooth communication and compliance
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for the management team on operational performance, regulatory compliance, and market trends
- Any adhoc duties as assigned by the manager
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience in ship bunkering, maritime operations, or fuel supply chain management
- Proven track record of providing strategic consulting in the maritime industry
- Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations, particularly those related to bunkering and environmental standards
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in providing strategic direction and mentoring staff
