Job Description
- Assisting in consultations;
- Dispensing medications to clients accurately and thoroughly according to the Veterinarian’s prescription;
- Performing basic medical procedures (e.g. intravenous catheter placement, urinary catheter placement, endotracheal intubation, anaesthetic monitoring etc.) under the Veterinarian’s supervision;
- Performing laboratory work and assisting the veterinarian with diagnostic imaging (e.g. radiography and ultrasonography);
- Assisting with dental/surgical procedures
- After hours nursing duties,
- Nursing care for hospitalized patients, including overnight / after-hours shifts as deemed necessary by the Company;
- Routine duties include performing blood tests, urine/faecal analysis;
- Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness within all areas of the clinic.
Requirements:
- Diploma/degree in veterinary nursing/technology or degree in veterinary medicine/ DVM
- Microsoft-Office/Email Proficient
- Fluent in spoken and written English (ability to converse in Mandarin is advantageous to liaise with clients)
- Basic mathematical skills
- Excellent telephone and interpersonal conversational etiquette
- At least 2 years relevant experience preferred
- Experience in leadership roles advantageous
