Roles & Responsibilities:
Academic Support and Course Planning
- Contribute to the strategic planning of units offered in each study period in alignment with academic objectives.
- Systematically manage and update student study plans to ensure clarity and coherence.
- Assist in the development of comprehensive academic timetables, optimising resource allocation and student experience.
- Oversee the student class registration process, ensuring efficiency and adherence to schedules.
- Provide empathetic counselling and support to students facing attendance challenges, fostering retention and success.
Academic Staff Management
- Coordinate the preparation and upkeep of sessional academic staff contracts.
- Maintain meticulous academic staff records with a focus on precision and confidentiality.
- Ensure seamless access to resources and equipment for academic staff.
Student Management
- Maintain accurate student records to ensure compliance and precision.
- Provide informed guidance on course requirements and facilitate smooth enrolment processes.
- Offer personalised academic support and guidance to students, nurturing their success.
- Maintain and optimise the attendance system to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Uphold data integrity by verifying and updating student information regularly.
- Generate insightful reports from attendance records to inform decision-making and enhance student engagement.
Additional
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Willing to work over the weekend with shift arrangement.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience (preferably within a Private Education Institution).
- Mature, responsible, and proactive attitude.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin, as the role involves addressing inquiries about programs, academic explanations, student contract and course planning. Some of these interactions will be conducted in Mandarin, catering to our Chinese clients from overseas.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in administrative tasks and IT skills.

- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and online portals is advantageous.
