Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversees the daily operations of Concierge and Bellhop team.
- Assist daily operations
- Supervise and ensure all Bellhops and Doorman follow the Novotel standards.
- Train and develop all Bellhops the required skills to perform their duties.
- Promote teamwork and smooth communication
- Maintain the department operation standards.
- Lead and motivate the team
- Counsel and discipline the team whenever necessary.
- Carry out staff appraisal
- Hold regular communication meeting and shift briefing with staff.
- Consistent acheivement of guest satisfaction
- To carry out any other duties as directed by superior.
Secondary Responsibilities (Security Operations):
- Ensure that the hotel's and guests properties are well secured and protected from theft, burglary, fire, and sabotage and be responsible for the peace and order within the hotel and its premises.
- Cover the duties of the Assistant Security Manager during his absence and assist him in all matters pertaining to security.
- Be responsible for all emergency evacuations to ensure the safeguarding of the lives of employees and guests such as during fire outbreaks, bomb hoaxes, and acts of terrorism.
- Shift In-charge and oversee the car park operations.
- Ensure all Security Officers maintain a prompt and courteous manner at all times - both security and non-security related matters. Submit the incident report after proper investigation.
Job Requirements
- Able to work 3 rotating shifts
- Good physical condition
- Able to converse in English
- At least a GCE “N” or “O” level graduate or equivalent
- Have a valid PLRD licence
- Completed WSQ Security Supervisor course or show proof of exemption
- At least 3 to 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field
- Ex-military/SCDF/Police personnel would be an advantage
- Honest and good credibility
- Good team player with initiative and a passion to provide excellent customer service
- Sound knowledge in investigation and report writing
