We are seeking a hands-on IT Professional to develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) templates and scripts using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef. This role involves automating infrastructure provisioning, managing configuration, and enhancing the efficiency and reliability of the systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with application requirements and organizational policies.
skills and experience required
- Strong hands-on experience in system administration for Linux (RHEL) and Windows.
- In-depth knowledge of coding with Chef cookbooks (Ruby, Shell, PowerShell) for configuration management.
- Experience developing infrastructure code using Terraform (HCL) for IP assignment and VM creation.
- Proficiency in automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration management processes using Ansible, Terraform, and Chef.
- Familiarity with building CI/CD pipelines for automating infrastructure management.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, YAML, JSON, and shell scripting.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, and JIRA.
