Essential Functions:
1. Conduct sales, marketing and business development activities in acquiring new clients, build a strong network of clientele and drive sales to support business growth of the Company and its subsidiaries.
2. Implement and execute Sales Plan to achieve sales target for products and services in in-vitro- and in-vivo preclinical development.
3. Market development work including supporting existing sales channels and building new ones.
4. Possess a strong knowledge of the Company service offerings, able to communicate effectively to all clients in the selling of the services and establish strong working relationships with clients through service excellence.
5. Participate in sales and/or bid defence meetings with potential clients, understand client needs and provide input based on knowledge of market and competitor landscape.
6. Conduct literature search to support experiment designs and all sales proposals. Develop experiment plan and lead discussions with internal stakeholders.
7. Develop costings of projects/services and proposals in a timely manner to meet client’s needs, provide follow-up with clients on feedback on proposals, work on proposal revisions, and see through to final decisions by clients.
8. Lead presentations and discussions of proposals with clients.
9. Build strong, professional working relationships with clients and distributors and drive service excellence.
10. Drive repeat business with existing accounts.
11. Assist in managing regional distributors for product and services.
12. Generate reports on sales leads, turnover and follow-up of proposals through the use of in-house systems. Timely submission of weekly reports.
13. Support business development, sales and marketing team in the achievement of team goals.
14. Assist in developing new markets and gathering market intelligence.
15. Participate in sales team meetings and training sessions as organized by the Company.
Requirements:
· Bachelor/Master in Biology/Life Sciences/Business or equivalent
· > 2 years’ experience in sales and/or business development with proven sales track record.
· Prior experience with healthcare sector/ CRO services/ immunology and/or preclinical work is highly desired.
· Possess strong understanding of market needs in epigenetics /personalized medicine and/or preclinical services.
· Ability to travel within designated sales territories in Asia to hold face-to-face meetings with clients.
· Ability to work under pressure to handle multiple tasks to meet deadline and deliver high quality work in a dynamic environment.
· Market knowledge & ability to sell to customer needs.
· Proficient in MS Office and CRM Software.
